Hardwood

Hardwood floors are created from many different types of wood and the harder the wood is, the more resistant to stains it will be. Laminate
Today’s laminate flooring is constructed of multiple layers and a top layer of aluminum oxide that makes it highly stain resistant and helps protect against scratches, dents and dings that occur through everyday usage. It’s a non-porous material that doesn’t allow substances such as soda, tea and coffee, fruit juices, or even wine to penetrate the surface for great stain resistance. Liquids can easily be removed from the surface with a damp cloth. Even substances such as marker, lipstick or nail polish can be removed without it staining the floor if the correct cleaner is utilized.
