In 1966, Jack Kuhn began the tradition of quality in South Florida, opening the Carpet Remnant Warehouse on Powerline Road in Oakland Park. Whether his clients wanted to make their kitchen look nicer or improve the whole house with carpet, Jack’s commitment to quality flooring was a standard for others.

The year 1990 brought a major positive change for Kuhn’s Flooring when Jack and his son, Steve, decided to work together. They opened a new store in Coral Springs on Wiles Road. This expanded Kuhn Flooring’s reach and brought in a new period of family teamwork. Their partnership brought new energy to the company, and with Jack’s guidance and Steve’s new ideas, they grew faster and made customers even happier.

Proving the strength of the Kuhn Flooring tradition, in 2014, the third generation joined the family business. Bradley, Steve’s son, followed in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, showing that their dedication to quality was a family trait.
